Water is for very pale skins, Earth, pale with a yellow undertone, Air for medium fair and the darkest shade Fire is for medium skin. I also use Fire on darker skin then apply the deeper  foundation color over it. It is a very creamy texture and blends on very smoothly. Dab it on pimples and blend it on areas needing a little extra coverage,
